Think about money — Ask yourself if there is anything you can sell. Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and Craigslist are just a few places that you can sell your belongings. Donations to Goodwill and other nonprofits groups is another good option.
Make it fun — One way to get through the process is to make it something to enjoy. Invite over some friends for food, drinks, and you can declutter your home together.
