UNITS® containers are designed to be sturdy. They feature all-steel construction, robust steel frames, and secure steel doors. Our containers are the most weather-resistant on the market – no need for a tarp. In contrast, U-Haul® containers are made from wood, adhesive and staples. You’ll only find this level of quality at UNITS® of Houston.
UNITS® containers are spacious, and thanks to our distinctive door design, our smallest container (12′) can accommodate 511 more cubic feet of space than U-Haul® containers. Additionally, our 16′ UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage containers can hold up to 400% more weight than equivalent-sized U-Haul® containers!
Our containers come equipped with the ETRACK™ securing system. We recognize that items can shift during moves due to varying terrain, unlike U-Haul®. Using our strap and restraint system, also known as ETRACK™, your belongings will remain in place!
In comparison to U-Haul®’s U-Box, you’ll only need one of our containers to store the contents of multiple rooms, including furniture. With U-Box, you’d require several containers for the same task. Our 12′ containers can accommodate up to 4 rooms, an entire basement, or large items like patio furniture and dining room tables.
