Company Experiencing Explosive Growth in Greenville with Opening of Larger Facility

GREENVILLE S.C. (November 2017) – UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage Company, known for its white storage containers, is aggressively growing in the Upstate with the opening of a larger location to handle its expanding business. UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage, a Charleston, South Carolina-based national moving and portable storage franchise, announced it will move its local warehouse to a much larger location to handle rapid growth in the Greenville area. The new warehouse at 308 Pennsylvania Avenue, in Greer, S.C. is more than double the size of the previous facility in Pelzer – a strong indicator the company is growing right along with the exploding Greenville economy.

Founded in 2004, UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage specializes in providing portable storage for commercial and residential movers. The franchise has expanded to 12 states, with more than 6,000 of its storage containers in service, helping thousands of customers in more than 500 cities.

Located between Parker St. and Duke St., the new location features environmentally-friendly LED lighting along with sealed concrete floors. UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage utilizes lightweight, galvanized steel containers featuring a translucent top allowing for natural light to enter the space. Their delivery system uses the latest technology designed to stabilize the placement and removal of all containers on and off of the transport vehicles. Their proprietary ROBO-UNIT, a high-tech robotic container transport, eliminates any shift in container contents and provides greater flexibility in container placement when space is an issue. That means they can put a storage unit in places other companies can’t reach.

UNITS® Moving and Portable Storage will bring containers to a specified location and give customers the option to load and arrange their belongings at their own pace. When they’re done, the customer can have the truck transport their portable storage unit to their new home or business.
