Toys for Tots & Wounded Warrior Project | UNITS Charities for 2022

In the spirit of giving, UNITS Moving and Portable Storage is partnering up with Toys for Tots and the Wounded Warrior Project to help make the holidays bright for those in need. From now until December 31st, participating UNITS owners around the country will be collecting donations for these two great causes. But we’re not stopping there! We’re issuing a “Spread the Love Challenge” to our locally owned and operated UNITS locations. So let’s all work together to make this holiday season a little brighter for those who need it most.

About the Organizations that UNITS™️ is Supporting:

Toys for Tots:

Founded in 1947, the mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Wounded Warrior Project

The Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who have incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving their nation post-9/11. Learn more about WWP’s programs and services available free of charge to warriors, their families, and caregivers here.

Why UNITS is Doing This

At UNITS, we believe that it’s important to give back to the community, especially during the holiday season. That’s why we’re so excited to be teaming up with Toys for Tots and the Wounded Warrior Project for our Month of Giving campaign. These are two great causes that are near and dear to our hearts, and we’re honored to be able to help out.

How You Can Help Toys for Tots & The Wounded Warrior Project

1. Giving Step: Participating UNITS locations donate containers to Toys for Tots collection points and collect and deliver new, unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program. Toys for Tots Wins!
2. Giving Step: Every person who donates a toy gets a discount on any container rental. Customers Win!
3. Giving Step: Participating UNITS owners match the customer discount with a cash contribution that goes straight to the Wounded Warrior Project to help provide care for wounded veterans. Wounded Warriors Project Wins!
4. Additionally, there are plenty of other ways to provide support and help out! If you’re a local business owner, you can participate in our Spread the Love Challenge by teaming up with your local UNITS franchisee to collect donations. Or, if you’re an individual looking to make a difference, you can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at any participating UNITS location.
