Local Businessman Celebrates Grand Opening by Serving Baltimore Seniors

UNITS Moving and Portable Storage Helps Baltimore Seniors Prepare for Fall and Winter

After spending almost 20 years working in the Baltimore real estate and mortgage industry, local businessman Peter Burstein knew the bustling B-town area needed more storage — from commercial businesses to homeowners on the move. His childhood dream of owning his own franchise business (in high school he tried to buy a Philly-based Italian water ice franchise) became a reality when he found UNITS Moving and Portable Storage.

Part of Burstein’s commitment to the community is as a board member for CHAI (Comprehensive Housing Assistance Inc.), a non-profit focused on providing affordable housing and services in northwest Baltimore. His UNITS grand opening celebration will also serve as a kickoff to a “Fill the Unit” Fall and Winter Drive for CHAI, collecting winter emergency supplies and blankets for seniors.

And now, to deepen the relationship by hosting a supply drive to help seniors weather the harsh winter months is very exciting.
